Description
CE118 Equine Series: Snorts, Stomps and
Squeals - $36

Wednesday,
April 9, 6 – 9 p.m.

Explore the comparisons and contrasts between domestic and
feral horse behavior. This seminar exposes participants to the behavioral
differences between domestic horses and feral (‘wild’) horses through a slide
show documenting the varying relationships found within and between harems. The
contrast between natural and domestic behaviors serves as a teaching tool for
ways to modify housing and handling environments to improve equine health and
welfare. Taught by Dr. K. Bump (1
class)
